Reading the version first
The FL Studio version (199) is stored in ASCII, while every other string is UTF-16LE. Reading it first confirms which version saved the file, and so which playlist record size to expect: version strings with a major number of 21 or more belong to this format. See Events for the details.
Timestamp
The timestamp event holds two 64-bit little-endian floating point numbers, both counted in days.
| Offset | Size | Type | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 8 | f64 | created | When the project was created, in days since 30 December 1899. The fraction is the time of day. |
| 8 | 8 | f64 | time_spent | How long the project has been open for editing, in days. |
