Introduction
ODP is the presentation of the OpenDocument Format (ODF), the open standard from OASIS that is also ISO/IEC 26300. It is the default format of LibreOffice Impress, and PowerPoint and Google Slides can open and save it. It is built the same way as the ODT text document.
.otp is a presentation template, and .fodp a flat, single
XML file version.
Structure
An ODP file is a ZIP archive whose first, uncompressed
entry is mimetype, containing
application/vnd.oasis.opendocument.presentation. The slides are in
content.xml, one draw:page element per slide, holding frames
of text, pictures and shapes; speaker notes sit in a
presentation:notes element inside each page. The master pages and styles
are in styles.xml, and pictures in the Pictures folder.
