The mixer is a row of inserts, each with a set of effect slots. Inserts have no New event: their events appear insert by insert, in mixer order. Each effect slot starts with a slot index event, and the plugin in the slot is described by the plugin events that follow.
PyFLP’s table of maximums, which it labels as estimates, gives 105 insert slots, 99 of them numbered inserts, up to version 9.0, and 127 after it. Each insert has 10 effect slots.
