The mixer is a row of inserts, each with a set of effect slots. Inserts have no New event: their events appear insert by insert, in mixer order. Each effect slot starts with a slot index event, and the plugin in the slot is described by the plugin events that follow.
PyFLP counts 127 insert slots in files from version 12.9 on, which covers FL Studio 20: 125 numbered inserts, the master and a “current” insert. Each insert has 10 effect slots.
